The Fountain
"Three stories - one each from the past, present, and future - about men in pursuit of eternity with their love. A conquistador in Mayan country searches for the tree of life to free his captive queen; a medical researcher, working with various trees, looks for a cure that will save his dying wife; a space traveler, traveling with an aged tree encapsulated within a bubble, moves toward a dying star that's wrapped in a nebula; he seeks eternity with his love. The stories intersect and parallel; the quests fail and succeed."

Yeasayer
"The music of Brooklyn's Yeasayer is an eclectic, genre-bending journey into pop, druggy rock, Middle Eastern and African musics, folk, and dub. Vocalist/keyboardist Chris Keating and vocalist/guitarist Anand Wilder were both raised in Baltimore, where they honed their vocal skills in a barbershop quartet and initiated a musical partnership before leaving town to attend different colleges. Years later, the two relocated to New York and began shaping the project that would soon become Yeasayer. Wilder's cousin, Ira Wolf, joined as the group's bassist, and drummer Luke Fasano solidified the lineup in May 2006."

Red Riders
"We're not the future of anything. We're not post-punk although we do like Gang of Four. We're not new-rave, although we think The Stone Roses are killer. We're just a band and we really wanted to make a guitar album, the way The Pixies' Surfer Rosa is a guitar album, or The Replacements' Let It Be is a guitar album. We're not saying we got there, but that was the plan and we're really proud of all ten tracks on our debut record. " in official site
Death at a Funeral
"Daniel is a decent young man, married to Jane, still living at his father's home. When his father dies, it his up to him to organize his funeral. On this painful morning, the suitable grave expression on his face, Daniel is ready to welcome his father's friends and relatives. But preserving the dignity inherent in such a circumstance will be a hard task. Particularly with an undertaker who botches his work, the return from the USA from his famous but selfish brother, his cousin's fiancé who has accidentally ingested drugs, the presence a moron who takes advantage of the sad event to win back the heart (or rather the body) of a woman who is about to marry another, of a handicapped old uncle who is also the most unbearable pain in the neck. To cap it all, Daniel notices the presence among the mourners of a mysterious dwarf nobody else seems to know..."
